Very professional and full of ideas

I purchased a property in Croydon Hills in 2014, the first thing on the “to do”list was to have an entertaining area built out the back. All that was there was a black concrete slab,and being a family that loves entertaining, this was a high priority for all of us.

I asked some friends who had used builders in the past, but nobody really stood out until I had a colleague who was in the property market mention they had been to an open house that was on the market which was built by Simmonds constructions in Croydon, and the workmanship looked immaculate.

I tracked down Simmonds constructions and asked if they did decking’s and pergolas, I was in luck, they did. I spoke to a gentleman called Dale who said he would come out and have a look at the site the next day. True to his word, he turned up when he said he would, so the first box was ticked.

Upon meeting Dale on site, he was very professional and full of ideas. He explained all his ideas in detail and offered quite a few variations to his ideas that would either be within budget or over my budget. Covering various raw materials, the pricing and the type of materials that would be most suited to our site and lifestyle.

Within 48 hours the written quote arrived,and it also included an estimated start date which was a good addition.

After two other quotes I went with Simmonds constructions. The build commenced on the agreed date and from the first morning the team arrived on site, I knew we’d made the right decision.

The team were very professional and constructed a beautiful entertaining area which our family and friends love. They were so organised; the work rate was very efficient,and the worksite was always left clean and safe at the end of every working day.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Simmonds constructions for any building works, they are true professionals from the enquiry stage, right through until the end of the project.

Always been great to deal with

I have used Simmonds Constructions on numerous occasions for my personal extensions at home and also commercial building for business.

They have always been great to deal with, very punctual and also their workmanship is exemplary.

They are tidy on the job site, easy to work with and have no problems in listening to client needs.

Also, they have constructed new homes in the past in our immediate area and I've heard excellent reports from those clients too.

A delightful experience in professionalism

"We engaged Simmonds Constructions in the renovation of a run down 1860s brick Victorian single fronted house in an inner Melbourne suburb with challenging access conditions and the construction of a seperate dwelling at the rear of the very narrow property.  Engaging Geoff and his team in this project has been a delightful experience in professionalism, master craftsmanship and attention to detail in what was a very difficult build.  The finished product way surpassed our expectations and we would not hesitate to engage their services again and recommend them as a builder of choice."
